Roane State is a leader among community colleges in organizing international education 贝博体育. More than 700 Roane State students have participated in study abroad 贝博体育 led by Roane State faculty. Our students have seen Mayan ruins, 活跃的火山, coffee plantations, the Normandy landing beaches, sea turtles laying eggs, 还有更多! They have restored coral reefs, painted community murals, and performed as a chorus in several European countries. Many of our trips also involve a service-learning component; for example, providing dental hygiene treatment for children in Costa Rica and volunteering at an orphan年龄 in Belize! Not only will you see the world on an RSSC study abroad program, chances are that you will also change lives. Our program directors seek to immerse students in the culture and life of the locales that we visit. Studying Abroad provides a unique opportunity for students to diversify their college education and to expand their knowledge of global culture.

学生 that meet minimum enrollment requirements qualify for a partial scholarship towards program expenses. To date, RSCC has distributed over $500,000 in study abroad scholarships.
